this is an album dedicated to the idea of escapism reaching the point of addiction. the first half represents the euphoric feeling one has while escaping, where you remain blissfully ignorant of the world around you and indulge. the second half represents when the sobering reality kicks in and you are left to introspect about your choices, imbued with feelings of shame and self-loathing.

art and animation for the full album video done by aletiune. this is a giant step forward for me in realizing my music into something bigger - i am so appreciative of her work on this and happy i was able to satisfy that artistic goal. i want to continue to create a world with my music, and i hope this album does that for you.
